Sandakan is a city in the Malaysian state of Sabah on the northeast coast of Borneo. It was the former capital of British North Borneo until 1946. The town prospered in the early days due to its port with visiting traders.

The hill top Puu Jih Shih Temple offers panoramic views of the city and the Sandakan bay. Agnes Keith House is a wooden bungalow that re-creates the city’s colonial-era life. The city is also base for visiting the Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, Sun Bear Conservation Centre, Labuk Bay Wildlife Sanctuary, and the limestone Gomantong Caves, home to swiftlets, bats and Kingfishers. A two-hour drive from Sandakan is the Kinabatangan River which offers memorable river trip to see the Proboscis monkey, endemic to Borneo, gather by the river bank to settle for the night.

Day 4   Sandakan - Home
            After breakfast, at leisure till transfer to Sandakan airport. Meet up our representative and
            transfer to the airport in a private vehicle. We will assist you with your luggages, flight check
            in and walk you to your departure gate. (Breakfast included)

How to book this holiday?

Our prices are based on: -

• Per single or twin / double room for the duration of the package.
• Include daily breakfast for one or two persons.
• Include return airport transfers for 1 or 2 persons in a private vehicle.
• Include excursions in certain packages as detailed in the itinerary.
• Include all service chargers and government taxes.
• The hotels allow 2 children below 12 years old sharing a twin / double room with parents.
• The hotels allow one adult to share a twin / double room as additional adult.
• Costs of additional breakfast and extra bed, if required, for children and additional adult to be paid directly to the hotels concerned. We could make prior reservations for you.
• After you have paid for the total purchases by debit or credit cards, a receipt will be issued to you as proof of payment, together with details of your purchases and an itinerary as per the selected package will be attached for your easy reference. Please note day 1 on the itinerary will be the date as selected to commence the tour.
• Should you require to cancel your booking, please refer to our “Terms of service” under “Help” section on the top right-hand corner of the home page.
• Please advise us your incoming and outgoing flight details so that airport transfers can be arranged for you.
• Names and details of the hotel accommodation will be sent to you once payment has been made and room reservations have been confirmed by the hotels concerned.
